Winery Zvonko Bogdan

HomeWinery Zvonko Bogdan

Zvonko Bogdan Winery started its way in 2008 when combining the specificity and tradition of Palic vineyards with the latest French technology towards a clear goal of producing top quality wines that bear the stamp of the region they come from.

Anchored in the sea of its vineyards on the eastern shore of Lake Palic, in the very north of Serbia, the Winery is built in the Art Nouveau style, characteristic of the traditional architecture of Palic and the nearby town of Subotica.

The magnificent building of the Winery, which clearly points to the almost inevitable blend of wine and art, is a worthy haven of increasingly famous and recognized wine, but also a good host for anyone who wants to see and experience where and how it is born.

The winery bears the name of the well-known Saturday singer of old town songs, Mr. Zvonko Bogdan, whose art and name are synonymous with a top-notch experience, as are the wines of the Zvonko Bogdan Winery.

the first plant

The first plantings were erected in 2006 on the shore of lake Ludas

rounded whole

In 2015, the entire winery was completed, when new young vineyards were planted

Zvonko Bogdan Winery processes grapes exclusively from its vineyards. For the primary processing equipment used by the prestigious French manufacturer - Vaslin Bucher.

More than 300 barrels of French and American oak of various levels of toasting are housed in a barricaded basement with ten sensors that constantly regulate temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide, on an area of 1500 m2.

Palic is characterized by a temperate continental climate, with about 2100 hours of sunshine a year, the average daily temperature during the growing season is 17 ° C and the average annual precipitation is 560 mm

perfect conditions

All this points to the existence of favorable conditions for the cultivation of the vine, and the lakes Palic and Ludas are responsible for the special mesoclimate and microclimate, which is a real boon for the vineyards of Zvonko Bogdan Winery planted here

grape varieties

Careful choices include white (Sauvignon blanc, Pinot blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Muscat yellow) and black grape varieties (Merlot, Frankovka, Cabernet franc and Cabernet sauvignon).

As the road to good wine begins in the vineyard, and quality and authenticity come first, Zvonko Bogdan Winery's wines are made exclusively from grapes grown and ripe in its vineyards
